The Bard.
Welcome!

Despite living in the modern, technologically advanced society of today, I prefer to live in the time of the scrolls when bards still roamed the lands sharing their stories.

What I mean by this is if I can be outside living adventures or meeting people, that is where I want to be because that is how the best stories are written...by experiencing them yourself.

Accuracy is what you see, feel, hear, taste and touch. Those components of a news story cannot be written from a chair, in front of a computer  while surrounded by walls.

To be thorough and creative you have to  reach out to your sources and absorb the setting. I firmly believe that non-fiction can coexist with elements of fiction. News can still be comprised of the 5 W's and an H, but still be able to make a connection with the reader.

You won't find me with a quill writing on a piece of parchment, unfortunately as much as I'd like to be...but I will be jotting down words, phrases, and any sort of idea that comes to my mind with a pen or pencil in my notebook. I'm probably already out there writing my next story.
